Ingredients for Parwal Curry

Coriander powder.             3 tablespoon

Cumin powder.                   2 tablespoon

Ginger.                                   10 gms

Parwal                                     1 kg

Oil                                            6 tablespoon

Potatoes.                               4 medium

Bay leaves.                           2

Turmeric powder               1/2 teaspoon

Red chilli powder               3 teaspoon

Garam masala powder.     1 teaspoon

Ghee.                                      1 tablespoon

    How to make parwal curry

1.Gradually add 1/2 cup water to coriander and cumin powders,blending into a smooth paste .

2.Grind ginger into a paste.

3.Group parwal into 2 batches .Heat oil in cooker for about 5 minute.Lightly fry each batch and remove. In the same oil ,lightly fry potatoes and remove.

4.To the remaining oil in cooker,add bay leaves. Stir for a few seconds. Add coriander -cumin  and ginger paste ,turmeric, chilli and garam masala powder. Stir and fry for about 1 minute. Add parwal,potatoes, salt ,sugar and remaining water .Stir well

5Close cooker .Bring to full pressure on high heat. Remove cooker immediately from heat .Release pressure with slight lifting of vent weight. Open cooker.

6.pour ghee evenly over parwal curry .serve hot ..😊😊
