Ingredients for Chola Dal 

Ghee.                       2 tablespoon

Coconut.                 1/2 cup

Mustard oil.           5 tablespoon

Whole dry red chilli. 4

Cloves                       6

Cinnamon.                2 stick

Ginger                         10 grams

Green chillies.           6

Bengal gram                2 cups

Turmeric powder        1 teaspoon

Water                             4 cups

      How to make Chola dal

1.In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon ghee for about 1 minute. Add coconut pieces and fry till light brown. Remove and keep aside .

2. Heat oil in cooker for about 2 minute. Add red chillies, bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and cumin seeds. Stir for a few seconds. Add fried coconut and all other ingredients expect water and remaining ghee. Stir and fry for about 2 minute. Add water. Stir once.

3.Close cooker. Bring to full pressure on high heat. Reduce heat and cook for 3 minute.

4.Remove cooker from heat. Allow to cool naturally .

5.Open cooker. Pour remaining ghee evenly over dal. serve hot ..😊😊😊
